PCC CIC is looking to recruit a business development and regional adviser to:
• Support PCC to seek new opportunities both within the NHS and commercial sector
• Develop and respond to business opportunities
• Conceive and develop new products
• Draft tender responses and proposals for work
• Management of (or participation in) CIC projects that require strategic thinking, project management capabilities etc
• Co-ordinate key events – for example – leading the development of sponsored events and workshops
• Develop partnership arrangements for PCC where this is advantageous and with the support of directors
• Support and design team development - developing a cohesive, stimulating and intellectually challenging programme
• Ensure the delivery of regional support to subscribers in London and/or south east coast
• Maintain PCC’s reputation as the primary provider of expert support to primary care commissioners, supporting the implementation of best practice primary care development
• Develop and maintain good working relationships with local subscribers understanding their needs and ensuring support is provided to meet these needs
• Manage complex relationships and projects
PCC CIC is a challenging and exciting company and candidates should be able to demonstrate experience of working in a demanding environment.
This post will be home based but the successful candidate will spend significant amounts of time working in their region or on specific project areas. Some national travel, overnight stays and attendance at evening meetings will also be required. The salary is dependent on skills and experience.
