Existing service standards
There are no official Government service standards for services for victims of violence against women and girls, other than the SARC minimum elements set out by the previous Government. However, some third sector organisations have developed their own standards, which commissioners may find useful.
Co-ordinated Action Against Domestic Abuse (CAADA) have an accreditation process forIndependent Domestic Violence Advisors (IDVAs) and for Multi-agency Risk Assessment Conferences (MARACs)
We are keen to know of any other such standards - please contact us firstname.lastname@example.org if you have any examples you would like to share.
