Implications of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) on the health care sector

6 February 2018

The seminar will provide an overview of the GDPR and of the Data Protection Bill insofar as it relates to the processing of personal data within the health and social care context and incorporates and supplements the GDPR.

By the end of the session on 12 April in Leeds you will be clear on the new requirements imposed on data controllers and processers by the GDPR and what action is needed to prepare for the coming into force of the new legislation on 25 May 2018. The session will focus on the implications of the GDPR on the health and social care sector and organisations operating within that sector.
