Eugenia Cronin

Eugenia is a consultant in public health with a strong public sector background and expertise in health services policy and research, organisational development and commissioning.

Eugenia works independently, providing:

  • Scientific advice to National Institute of Health Research programmes
  • Technical public health expertise for service reviews, evaluations, and population needs assessments
  • Consultancy support on organisational/leadership development, particularly in the public health context (learning set facilitation and mentoring focus on working with politics, developing influencing skills, thriving in time of change)

Consultancy projects use her expertise in public health local delivery, commissioning, research and evaluation, and needs assessment, as well as her skills in organisational and leadership development.

Eugenia is a strong advocate of community-based approaches which involve people and patients, and she has a special interest in mental health – in terms of service improvement and in terms of positive approaches to enhancing resilience and wellbeing.
