It is essential that contract managers and contract holders understand the rules that underpin financial support for premises from which primary care medical services are delivered.

Understanding the impact of rent reviews and abatements is vitally important if contract holders are to manage their estate and make good business decisions aligned with the local strategy for future delivery of primary care medical services.

PCC is hosting webinars covering 1) the process of rent reviews for owner occupiers (notional rent) and lease holders, outlining the process and some of the issues that may arise and 2) improvement grant process and abatement rules including abatement for third party occupiers and for non GMS core services. The webinars will be held on 14 and 21 November. Webinars are only open to NHS England local offices and clinical commissioning groups (CCGs) with a current PCC subscription.
