With over 25 years’ experience in the public and voluntary sectors, Karen is a skilled facilitator and trainer who supports teams and individuals to adapt and respond effectively to the changes in policy and practice that shape services and drive improvement. She has led teams and organisations and is an experienced board member and chair.
She enters each new situation with an open, enquiring mind and the ability to respond to the needs of individuals and groups. Karen brings a flexible approach and tailors services to support clients to develop and succeed.
Karen enables groups of people to make the most of the time they have together to share learning and think about new ways of working. She supported general practice to introduce Clinical Pharmacists into their teams as part of the national workforce development programme and is part of PCC’s adviser team for the implementation of primary care networks, supporting social prescribing, community engagement, collaboration and change management.
As a trainer Karen designs courses with clear objectives and includes a mixture of training approaches to meet the needs of all learning styles, so that everyone can participate fully and have an equal chance to learn.View all team
